Jumbo Harvest Island Adults & Children Strategy

At the intersection of northeastern and southeastern Asia exists a mysterious and peculiar island, it's called Formosa. Throughout this wonderful landscape, mountains, plains, and hills of all shapes and sizes exist under a subtropical environment that is especially optimal for growing fruits. In fact, fruits are available for harvest every season on this island and with the proper cultivation, delicious crops can be produced throughout the year.

In Harvest Island, players take on the role of cultivators, sowing seeds in different types of fields under varying weather conditions in order to maximize their harvests. Using the knowledge gained from weather forecasting, players must harvest their crops at the proper time in order to become the best cultivator the land has ever seen!

The game is divided in 4 seasons. There is a deck for each season, containing a mixture of fruit cards and weather cards. As the seasons change, the availability of certain fruits come and go. Each player draws 4 cards from the Spring Season Pile to form their opening hands. On your turn you can either cultivate fruits by playing 2 cards on your fields or harvest fruits for points by clearing a field. At the end of your turn, you refill your hand back to 4 cards. As you draw, you will reveal weather cards: sunny or rainy. Rain cancels out sun, but if ever three of a single type of weather accumulate, you endure a weather crisis ruining one of your fields. When the Winter Season Pile is depleted each player calculates their total points. The player with the highest number of points wins!
