What hardware is available?
  • Dome Cameras

    Dome cameras are named for their shape. They are one of the most common forms of security camera because they are compact, discrete, and can be aimed in any direction.

  • Bullet & Box Cameras

    Bullet and box cameras, also named for their shape, are bulkier than dome cameras but can be less costly and are more "obvious", which can act as a deterrent in certain situations.

  • PTZ Cameras

    Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras offer you the ultimate control. Remotely move your camera both horizontally and vertically, or zoom in for a closer look. Some even allow 360° panning.

  • Onboard Cameras

    Onboard cameras are designed for use in transit, boats, trains and other vehicles. They can withstand motion and vibrations and are typically built to be discrete.

  • Digital Video Recorder

    The DVR acts as a base station for all your cameras. Your footage is recorded to the DVR's drives for storage. These start of as small, simple devices from D-Link to enterprise solutions from Axis.

  • 1. Design

    Frontier PC certificated IP surveillance team will performe a thorough on-site security audit at customer site to better understand customer technical requirements. After a complete evaluation, our technicians will select the right products based on customer's budget to give the solution.

  • 2. Cabling

    All wiring will be using proper cables running through conduit, BX or ceiling. Depending on the environment, we might use CAT5e, CAT6 UTP or STP network cables for connecting cameras to your network.

  • 3. Connections & DVR Setup

    Once all cameras installed, we will connect them to the DVR and test each camera for requested zoom level (if applicable) and focus to make sure all images are sharp. Then DVR technician will configure the DVR to record based on client's requirements. It's also possible to ignore areas that do not need to trigger the camera motion detection (for example a high traffic street on a cornet of a camera).

  • 4. Internet Connection

    When all cameras connected and quality and functionality of system checked, a technician will connect the DVR to internet through existing ADSL or Cable connection. We either use your existing wired or wireless router or setup our own switch. In both cases you will be assigned an address to check the feeds remotely. Address will work on any web browser (like Internet Explorer) or a provided remote view software.

All equipments will have one year warranty and the entire installation will be supported by us for one year. Extended warranty on equipment and/or installation is available upon request.

    ABC realtor's office is a 4,000-square luxury house located in Richmond, BC. Up until recently house was monitored by a 4-camera CCTV system, which did not support some of the more modern security features like remote viewing and high-resolution video. Also, the 4 cameras only cover the front and back yard. They need more cameras to cover the sides and some inside area.

    After conducting a thorough site audit and comprehensive needs assessment, Frontier PC present an IP video surveillance migration plan that would provide remote viewing and recording accessibility, HD video resolution, and the flexibility to add more IP cameras over time.

    Frontier PC IP surveillance team performed a thorough on-site security audit at ABC realtor's office to better understand the current system and the office's technical requirements. After a complete evaluation, it was determined that an IP video surveillance migration plan, including the addition of 7 new HD security cameras, would deliver the results that office needed to combat theft and monitor operations. Since the power is ready on each camera location, we decided to use WIFI technology to protect the luxury house by cabling damage.

    The migration plan allowed ABC realtor's office to keep all 4 of its CCTV cameras connects to a video encoder that converts CCTV to IP video surveillance. 7 HD 720p cameras were recommended, and then installed inside the building to monitor the living room, staff office, hall way, entry area and outside the building to monitor the two side doors.

    Frontier PC designed a cost-effective IP video surveillance solution comprised of an Axis Q7404 video encoder, 4 Axis M1034-W HD indoor cameras, 3 Axis M1114-E HD outdoor cameras, and QNAP VioStor VS-2112 PRO+ Video Surveillance Station. We designed 4 wireless access points to cover the whole building and share the video traffic. We chose EnGenius ENH200 to convert the outdoor camera to WIFI connection.

    The AXIS Q7404 Video Encoder is a high performance, four-channel standalone solution that integrates four analog cameras at a time into an IP-based video surveillance system. AXIS Q7404 delivers superb video quality and significant savings in bandwidth and storage with H.264.

    Rich with features, the M1034-W and M1114-E surveillance cameras is an excellent fit for a home office establishment like ABC realtor office.     The IP video tech experts at Frontier PC configured the entire system, including the HD cameras and QNAP VioStor VS-2112 PRO+ Video Surveillance Station. The team also set up remote access so that the owner would be able to view all 11 cameras on his smartphone.

    The HD cameras were mounted on the ceiling or wall to get a wide shot of the dedicated area. Since the IP system is WIFI system, no data cable is required to complete installation, making it flexible and easy to get up and running.

    CD Baby store is a providing their customers with healthy, organic and long-lasting strollers, car seats, nursery furniture and baby essentials retail store located in Vancouver, BC. But the store lost some high end products sometime. They need a video surveillance system to monitor the store and keep the video data for a month to check when something happen. Also the owner want to view the real time video and play back on the phone.

After a complete evaluation, it was determined that an IP video surveillance solution, including four HD POE security cameras, would deliver the results that owner needed to combat theft and monitor operations.

    Four 3Mega HD cameras were recommended, and then installed inside the building to monitor the Entrance area, back door area, cashier area and main area. Frontier PC designed a cost-effective IP video surveillance solution comprised of a Hikvision NVR and four Hikvision HD cameras to cover the whole store. All cameras wired to NVR with POE from it. The NVR connects to the local network for remote access.

    The HD cameras were mounted on the wall to get a wide shot of the dedicated area. Since the IP system is POE system, no power cable is required to complete installation, making it flexible and easy to get up and running.

After a complete evaluation, it was determined that an IP video surveillance PTZ HD camera with wireless microphone system, would deliver the results that the company needed to record and monitor operations.

    One PTZ HD camera was recommended, and then installed inside the building to monitor the whole showroom. The wireless microphone system connects with the camera by multicable. The camera management software running on the computer will integrate the video and audio together.
